Students of Agricultural Science at Medi-Caps University, Indore took out an environmental awareness

Students of Agricultural Science at Medi-Caps University, Indore took out an environmental awareness rally on the occasion of World Environment Day (05 June 2023). During the rally, as a future scenario of global climate change, the public was made aware of the environmental hazards arising out of rising temperature, untimely rainfall along with increasing pollution and natural calamities. Specially drew attention to the ban on the use of plastic and the three \"R\'s\" (Refuse, Reuse and Reduce). 

World Environment Day is celebrated all over the world for the protection and conservation of the environment. It was announced by the United Nations in the year 1972 to bring political and social awareness towards the environment at the global level. It was launched following discussions at the World Environment Conference organized by the United Nations General Assembly from June 5 to June 16. The first World Environment Day was celebrated on 5 June 1973. Every year a special theme for the world environment is announced by the United Nations. The theme for this year has been announced as Beat Plastic Pollution, which emphasizes on finding solutions to plastic waste disposal.

On this occasion, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr) Dilip Patnaik, Hon’ble Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr) D.K Panda, Registrar, Dr Naveen Dhingra, all Faculty Deans, Departmental Heads, all faculty members, and students took oath to plant more and more trees and protect them.

Khelo India Youth Games

The Khelo India Youth Games is a multi-sport event organized by the Government of India

The games provide a platform for young athletes from different states and union territories to showcase their skills and compete at the national level. The event aims to identify and support promising athletes, provide them with top-notch facilities, coaching, and exposure, and contribute to the development of sports culture in India. Through Khelo India Youth Games, the government seeks to foster a spirit of sportsmanship, healthy competition, and fitness among the youth while aiming to create a pool of potential future champions for various international sporting events.

Basics of Investment Analysis

The workshop begin with the introduction to investments & its importance.

Further, the speaker highlighted the factors that need to be considered for investing and shared the upcoming opportunity available for internship in our organization. At the end vote of thanks was given by Dr. Bindiya Tater. Students learned the requirement of investments. They also learned about its importance and the types of investors & investment avenues available in the market. They have also known the concept of EIC Analysis, Qualitative & Quantitative Analysis, and factors to be considered for investing. Mr. Anirudh Sharma has explained the critical factors for trading. To-do’s for enhancing the skills of budding managers.

12The faculty of Engineering conducted the 2nd IEEE International Conference on Computer, Communication and Control (IC4-2024) at Medicaps University in Indore. The event commenced with a warm welcome to all the guests, including the chief guest, Shri Asheesh Singh, participants, keynote speakers, and the entire Medicaps family. The esteemed presence of the Chancellor, Shri R.C. Mittal, and Vice Chancellor, Dr. D.K. Patnaik, added to the auspicious atmosphere.

The inauguration began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by the Medicaps anthem. Dr. Pramod Nair, Dean of Engineering, addressed the conference, and Vice Chancellor Dr. D.K. Patnaik shared his insights. The official declaration of the conference opening was made by Chancellor Shri R.C. Mittal. The chief guest, Shri Asheesh Singh, honoured the occasion with words of encouragement for the attendees.
